A Green Friday with Dataflex Pop-Up Repair Café!

November 24th this year is Black Friday, the time when historically shops start posting sales and discounts to kick start the beginning of holiday shopping season.
But we want to do it differently.

Inspired by the movement initiated by our partner, Trees for all, we wish to turn Black Friday into Green Friday. Specifically, we aim to celebrate repairability and durability by opening a one-day pop-up Repair Café in our showroom.

What is a Repair café?

Repair Cafés are free meeting places and they’re all about repairing things (together). At a Repair Café, you'll find tools and materials to help you make any repairs you need, whether it's on clothes, furniture, electrical appliances, bicycles, crockery, appliances, toys, etc. You’ll also find expert volunteers, with repair skills in all kinds of fields. - repaircafe.org

So, what’s going to happen that day?

Bring over your broken household appliances, textiles or bikes to our Codex showroom and let’s fix it together! We have recruited our best repairers and some volunteers from other repair cafes to help us.
And most importantly, enjoy extending the lives of your good old pals!
