EPDs Offer Dataflex Clients Full Environmental Insight
Dataflex recently became the first Dutch company in its sector to publish EPDs (Environmental Product Declarations) for 15 of its most popular products. The EPDs give you detailed insight into a product’s environmental impact, so you can make more informed decisions when it comes to trying to meet your own sustainability goals or your clients’ requirements.
Clearer, easier decision-making
With an EPD, the environmental impact of a product is clear and, equally important, it’s easy to compare the impact of different products. Invaluable information, for example, for tendering processes or when calculating a project’s environmental impact.
Handy overviews and detailed data
Dataflex already provides Ecosheets for all its products, which offer a handy overview of a product’s environmental impact, and are clear and easy for anyone to understand. But EPDs are much more comprehensive documents that show both the exact environmental impact of the product in detail and how the impact calculations were made.
Compare products
The EPD calculations are carried out against strict Product Category Rules (PCR) and checked by an external reviewer. This means you can compare with total confidence the environmental impact of products across an entire sector.
The PCRs are developed per sector by an independent platform. For office furnishings & interiors in the Netherlands this is Inside/Inside. On their site, you will find a growing range of products to help you make quick, reliable comparisons on the environmental impact of different products.

There are currently EPDs for 15 Dataflex products, with more in the pipeline. They form a wide cross-section of Dataflex’s offering, and include items from the Addit, Bento, Viewgo, Viewmate, Viewlite and Viewmaster ranges.
