From Building Site to Office

In the planning phase of this project, the interior designer had some requirements regarding ergonomic accessories.
On the one hand, they asked for a monitor arm solution with a bolt-trough attachment that would accommodate two screens. Furthermore, a flexible solution was needed that would allow an upgrade from a single to a double arm at a later point in time. And, of course, these features had to match the design of the rest of the facility.
Based on these requirements, the Dataflex Viewlite collection was selected

Houses, bridges and streets: construction companies such as the Geiger Group have visions of how buildings should look in the future. When it comes to furnishing modern office space, the same applies to PALMBERG and its partner, Staehlin GmbH from Kempten.

When setting up the Geiger offices in Kempten, the aim was to harmonise the office and construction site areas in such a way that the premises would act as a showpiece for the entire Geiger group of companies. This was achieved through a mixture of products from the PALMBERG portfolio and customized carpentry work crafted especially for the facility.

Separation of the different work areas was creatively achieved by using Euro pallets and reinforcement mats as design elements, creating a harmony with products from the TERIO PLUS series. The surfaces used in the Geiger subsidiary were also selected to match those of the construction site. The PALMBERG alabaster and old iron decor in the two open office areas ensure that the sometimes raw charm of the construction site is now also echoed in the office.

However, this doesn’t mean that employees at the Kempten site have to do without modern and inspiring colours. The use of aesthetic oak as well as green and red, the two corporate colours, has created a positive atmosphere in the offices, enabling effective support of colleagues outside on the construction site.
