Possible cause: Link is not connected to the power supply.
Solution: Connect the adapter and cord included to Link and to a power outlet.
Possible cause: Link is not connected properly to the device.
Solution: Disconnect the USB-C cable from the device and reconnect it.
Possible cause: The USB device connected to the port may not be compatible to the performance specifications of Link.
Solution: Do the following to switch on the port again:
Disconnect the adapter and cable from Link and reconnect it.

Disconnect the Link USB device and reconnect it.
Use a device that is compatible with Link or select a different port, one that is compatible with the performance specifications for your device.
Possible cause: The dual 4K/SuperSpeed switch is not in the right position.
Solution: Check whether the switch on the back of Link is set to dual 4K or SuperSpeed. If necessary, switch to SuperSpeed for 5Gbit/s speed.
Possible cause: The screen resolution is not configured properly.
Solution: Set the screen resolution to the same or lower than the maximum limit.
Possible cause: The settings for the operating system’s screen resolution are set to 100% by default.
Solution: Change the font size on your device.
Windows: Go to the Configuration screen > Display settings to change the font size.
macOS: Go to the System preferences > Display screen to change the font size.
Possible cause: The drivers or BIOS are outdated.
Solution: Make sure your drives and BIOS are updated with software from your device’s manufacturer.
Possible cause: The USB-C cable does not support the screen.
Solution: Use the included Dataflex USB-C cable (58.083).
Possible cause: Screen software does not recognise the external display device.
Solution: Make sure your screen software is up-to-date and runs on software from your device’s manufacturer.
Possible cause: You do not have a Kaby Lake (generation 7) processor or higher.
Solution: Use Link Laptopcheck to check your laptop's compatibility.
Possible cause: The dual 4K/SuperSpeed switch is not in the right position.
Solution: Check whether the switch on the back of Link is set to dual 4K or SuperSpeed.
Possible cause: The screen resolution is not configured properly.
Solution: Set the screen resolution to the same or lower than the maximum limit.
Possible cause: Your HDMI cable does not meet the required standard.
Solution: Use certified HDMI 1.4 cables.
